When Kevin Sheedy called Collingwood fans nuff-nuffs the media tried to turn it into something. At least one pundit said it was "inappropriate", while another said it was "unStrayan". At least, I think they did. If they didn't say it, they thought it. Anyhoo, after the initial bubble of fake indignation failed to fly the meeja must have accepted what everyone else already knows - Collingwood fans ARE nuff-nuffs.

DOOF DOOF

Doof doof? Yes, that's the sound of hundreds of children kicking footies in largely empty stadia. It's a long time tradition (as opposed to new traditions - like singing the club song for the cameras) that's been denied kiddies in recent years due to ground managements wanting to protect the surface of their arenas.

Just as traditional is the laughing in the bars when children gets sconned by stray agates.
