You gotta FIGHT for your RIGHT to FOOOOOOOTY....
FURIOUS footy fans have warned the four footy-poaching premiers: back off or else.
Collingwood supporter Gay Norman - "It's the home of AFL football here in Victoria so I feel really (finals) should be here at the MCG, even if they're interstate teams." Hero! Matthew Gallagher (Dandenong North) - "I think it would be the end of Victorian football if that happens. The game started here. Let's keep a bit of tradition." Hero! Edward Rogers - "It's always been Melbourne and the MCG and that's how it should remain all the time." Hero! Rex Bagot - "If they wanna play, they play here." Hero! Melbourne fan Roger May said he doubted the MCC would ever approve such a mad plan. Hero! Christian Stagliano (Templestowe) - "If they're really that keen interstate, they'll come here to see it." Hero! Sharon Schottler from Croydon said travelling to Melbourne for a finals match was half the fun for non-Victorians. (Coming from Croydon, she ought to know. Tee Hee B) Hero! Steve from Williamstown - "Inappropriate" Zero! In a completely unrelated development Tony Stagliano (Templestowe), Peter Kelly (Jan Juc) and Scott "Two Heads" McInnes (Tasmania) will be executed at dawn.
Agree totally with all these heroes, especially the (hicks) vics from the sticks- Croydon. (Waverley was our local y'know). If the Finals ever leave the MCG - time to support the great EDFL again.

I love to watch the finals at the MCG. At home. On delay. All the while knowing I had a ticket I didn't use.

Let's get something strait, footy = the beautiful game, born in melbourne ? No, created in the streets and parks of England, spiritual home = Wembley.
Unless you are talking about some lesser game that is.

That's something I've been arguing all along Mike. Wembley is the spiritual home of Association Round Ball Soccer Football. The MCG is the spiritual home of Australian Aerial Pingpong Oval Ball Football.
And we all know why more people play soccer; it's easy to play. Not necessarily better.
