Was the First Test result a flash in the pan? Quite obviously it was not concrete proof the Argus report has fixed Australian cricket. Bit premature, that. Still, the Aussies played tighter cricket than they have in a long time and deserved the win, even if the result could just as easily fallen the other way at the toss had Sri Lanka batted first on their wickedly doctored "pitch". The phrase "karma roller" comes to mind.

We advise you to exercise a high degree of caution in Sri Lanka at this time because of the high risk of Australian cricket. Australian cricket remains in a State of Emergency.

The Sri Lankan Lions will sleep well tonight in anticipation of facing the might of the latest Australian spin battery:
Test squad Shane Watson, Phillip Hughes, Ricky Ponting, Michael Clarke (capt), Michael Hussey, Usman Khawaja, Shaun Marsh, Brad Haddin (wk), Mitchell Johnson, Ryan Harris, Peter Siddle, Trent Copeland, James Pattinson, Nathan Lyon, Michael Beer.
Pattinson? Hmmm. Copeland? I like.
