Shane Watson sends his regards:
Pakistan cricketer Haris Sohail stumped by ghost in hotel room
A touring Pakistani cricketer is reportedly recovering after being scared witless by a supernatural presence haunting his hotel room in New Zealand.
Rising star Haris Sohail was hit for six when he woke in the middle of the night sensing a spectre, according to Pakistan media reports.
The 26-year-old was convinced a malevolent ghost had pushed him while he slept at the Rydges Latimer Christchurch, a source told NZME.
Not a religious chap then? Boom boom

I like to think it's a reappearance of the true spirit of cricket.

Now why didn't I think of that? Mind you, this spirit of cricket makes more sense than the official Spirit of Cricket.

Was this supposed to be a pun on the Canterville Ghost?
In any case, I have received numerous song recommendations from my mates, most of them lamentably hip hop, to which I can only but reply.

Yes, because there was a ghost like in Canterville and because Christchurch is the capital of Canterbury. Canterville. Canterbury. Ghosts. It all adds up.

See, I never could have made that connection. I just saw the title and thought of the short story.
My eldest is a big fan of Wilde which I am nonplussed about. If she could get into Poe then I'd be wrapt.
