No prize for guessing what Chuck Berry said to Hurlem Samuels:
Berry reported over Samuels incident
Adelaide Strikers coach Darren Berry must face a Cricket Australia disciplinary board after he was reported over a verbal exchange with West Indies allrounder Marlon Samuels before Wednesday night’s Big Bash game at Etihad Stadium.
The 15 degrees rule change is working well.
I'm probably way behind the debate here, Tony - but is Herath just another Sri Lankan chucker? I saw a few yesterday that looked more than suss, even with the 15 degree rule - and one on ultra slowmo, shown by 9 for another purpose, that was just dreadful (they didn't show it twice)!

I must admit, I have not been looking at him too closely so I can't really say whether he chucks.

Hurlem.

Chuck must have his eyes closed when Botha is "bowling".

Now that you mention it, I'd forgotten Chuck was Botha's coach. Good call. We await Chuck's consistent and principled appraisal of the chucking rule.

... still waiting.

Nor had I (looking closely at Herath, that is) - what I had seen suggested he was a pretty good spinner. But this slomo delivery they showed got my interest. And I think it mainly happens when he's bowling the one that goes the other way.

I saw a bit of the BBL yesterday and Botha looks easily as chucky as Hurlem.

Basically the new rules are a license to chuck and when combined with a piss-ant money-grab like the BBL anything goes and anyone who says different - you know, like the truth - will get fined.

I prefer the aesthete's version:

I was watching hit and giggle the other night and Zampa might be our first go at throwing our hat in the ring.
