A lot of love for "Nine's storied team" in the papers lately:
Some of the things we read in the papers is news. The rest – the majority – just looks like news.
The best definition of real news was coined by Harry Evans, former Sunday Times editor.
‘Something someone somewhere doesn’t want you to hear. The rest is advertising.’
Anyway:
THE absence of Tony Greig was conspicuous as Channel Nine began its 36th year broadcasting Australian cricket last week. Along with Richie Benaud, Ian Chappell and Bill Lawry, Greig is synonymous with Nine's coverage of the nation's summer sporting pastime.
The profile of Richie in the SMH, the profile of Richie on Nine last week, now this puff piece in the Green Guide. Anyone would think the rights were up for grabs.
Notwithstanding anyone actually calling the Green Guide a "news" outlet and not The Un-Official Partner's "content business".
not on subject but good tol isten to.
to lazy to link it properly
