No great surprises from the National Selection Panel Group Unit as far as the F50 squad is concerned. Peter Forrest has recently pinged the radar, Ricky Ponting's signal has been fading but he is still a force, Mitch Marsh is an international player in waiting and this year's "potential" selection, while Matthew Wade surfaced right beside the good ship Australia, Klaxtons blaring. The obvious omission is Paper Cut Watson, who appears to have sustained a Glenn Lovett-esque array of soft tissue injuries:
- David Warner
- Ricky Ponting
- Peter Forrest
- Michael Clarke
- Daniel Christian
- David Hussey
- Michael Hussey
- Matthew Wade
- Brett Lee
- Ryan Harris
- Mitchell Starc
- Xavier Doherty
- Clint McKay
- Mitchell Marsh
Yes, there really is an ODI series this summer. It's not all Tests & T20. Wonder how long F50 will last.

Well, I guess Hoggy is in the T20.

Lee is still pretty handy in the short forms. He's probably still there because of all the injuries to the rest of the battery.
Peter forest - not bad.

Omitting any mention of Shaun Marsh and Brad Haddin was not intentional, I merely assumed they would be out.

PC has been putting aside all his injuries for the past three years to pay them off with one massive injection of credit. He'll probably be fit again around September having finally cleared his injury debit system.

Saw an empty carton of Coca Cola in a bin today, featuring a number of Aussie goons in their Aussie F50 uniforms. Talk about the kiss of death.
Haddin
Watson
Doug the Rug
a spinner whose name eludes me
some blockhead I don't even recognise

Biggers, nice use of the term "blockhead", which is used too rarely nowadays, when there are so many who are so worthy of the term.
