You missed Mitch Marsh taking to Morne Morkel as to the manor born and a barnstorming ending to the second match.
Anyway Pat Cummins is now in the test squad and Hilditch is saying ludicrous and contradictory things about him in the squad announcement. God, when will CA be shot of that dude?
This would have to be one of the more embarrassing performances by the Aussies. I can't remember the last time I saw such a lack of intent. Who do they think they are? Pakistan?
I know Johnson has no brain at all, but he pretty much blocked out a maiden around over 41/42.
Are they really scheduling play days around television?!? I mean, it would not surprise me, but turning three one dayers into a week and a half series strikes me as ambitious, in the Cometti sense. Different market, dynamics, etc, but the Yanks manage seven day series in 9 days.
Apparently we lost a cricket match last night.
That may have been on the cards as I went to bed hot on the heels of Cow Corner and Wade getting out to wild slogs.

The Indestructible Paper Cut of Steel is under an injury cloud. We hope this is not an omen suggesting a return to Paper Cut status.
Shaun Marsh is under an injury cloud, which is pretty my SOP, and which might have SOS become the New Paper Cut.

I thought only one of them was allowed to be injured at once.
SOS probably felt that his status was endangered if he was fit while Papercut wasn't so he went out in sympathy.
I think he's also determined to keep his little bro on the park till he gets in the test squad.

Whoa! Bollinger gets WG The Terrorist first ball of the match.

WG drops sitter. Warner responds by blocking for 50 overs. Someone should teach that bloke to rotate the strike.

Paper Cut is injured again. Boo.

The Varks comprehensively outplayed us. Our bowling was soft and the batting after Hussey ran himself out was pedestrian.
I see Clarke was caught at first slip. Hope it wasn't another fixed-feet, Clarke-waft.

Australia were all out off the last ball.
No doubt Richie would have approved of Australia precisely batting out the alotted overs.

Why the hell is there a week between the second and third ODIs?!? Farcical schedule.

Ratings are better on particular days. God knows why that ought to matter, but it seems to.

The Yanks do a lot of things better. Probably why I've spent most of the past month watching/listening to baseball and ignoring the cricket.
