The boss of me and her friend heard the Classic FM segment last week, too. That's what put me onto the album.

You must be too young to remember Here come the Aussies by the 1972 Ashes team to England.

The Don has risen: or the flipside, "Bowl the ball, swing the bat, show the others where it's at" -- or was that part of Here come the Aussies?

"Here comes the Don" (in a funny high-pitched voice.)

it was indeed the B side.
What a record.
The Lyrics written by William Shakespeare.
no he didn't come back from the grave. There was a singer of that name!

I could be wrong, but I reckon William Shakespeare had to change his name to Billy Shake. No mention of a forced change at Wiki, but I have an inkling the bards modern minders drove the name change.
He got convicted of sex with a minor, then it looks like he went the same way as Stevie Wright - drugs, booze, decline, homelessness, a ruin.
He died in 2010.

Can't remember the Billy Shake thing, but I can remember his LP was going to be called The Complete Works but they thought this might offend people in Britain. He had a couple of great pop hits.

Billy released a "greatest hits" single.
