The commentators being more skeptical is all well and good, but the image is more persuasive and more repetitive than anything anybody might say on commentary. It has to be changed in my view, the ICC should require it.


I've always said they don't need to use Hawkeye. Instead use super slo-mo and high res footage to show where the ball pitches and where the ball hits the pad. Toss in the virtual blue stripe down the centre of the pitch and the UDRS would work just fine.

Hawkeye at the cricket, like tennis, is merely a colourful toy to impress gullible viewers.
