Why have there been so many references to Australia's "clean sweep" against the West Indies? Surely a washout, and the resultant "no result" means that a clean sweep is out of the question:
Deadest of rubbers puts weary series out of misery
Squibs do not come any damper than this desultory affair between a lethargic West Indies outfit and an Australian side desperately trying to retain motivation long enough to complete a clean sweep.
Steve Smith looks kinda retarded.

No offence intended towards retards by comparing them to members of the Australian cricket team.

Crash was talking him up big time on Saturday morning - glint in his eye, real presence, loves the contest, got something.

I will not be able to sleep tonight. If life is going to imitate dolls, couldn't they have made a Keith Miller one?

England were on the end of two 5-0 'Blackwashes' in the mid 80's.
Lucky to get 'nil' in each.
