Don't want to say I told you so:
Chris Judd is on $1,000,000 a year from Visi for six hours "work" a week to "consult on environmental matters".
So, get stuffed:
Chris Judd leads as Blues go green with Visy Park
EXCLUSIVE: PRINCES Park will be transformed into an environmental haven called Visy Park under Carlton's bold plans.
The Blues will today announce details of the $18 million development.
As part of the green push, Blues captain Chris Judd will become Visy's community environmental ambassador.
Judd will spearhead the packaging company's sustainability campaign.
The use of Judd as a Visy green ambassador was a key factor in the club luring him from West Coast last year.
Visy's complex relationship involving Judd as a highly-paid ambassador and its sponsorship of Carlton has only recently been ticked off by the AFL and investigations manager Ken Wood.
That has allowed Visy to today unveil Judd as its environmental ambassador.
I'm not sure why the AFL even bothers with a salary cap anymore.

With ANY exceptions it becomes a pointless exercise, and also a very dodgy one.

By the way.
"EXCLUSIVE" = "EXCLUSIVE*"
* Not counting the AGB.

How come the serious footy journos haven't, like the AGB, put a figure to Juddy's extracurricular deal yet?
Posted by: Gareth | 27 August 2008 at 16:52
And also, how's the timing? On the day he's back in the Federal Court to defend himself against allegations he lied to the ACCC, we come out with this bit of good news in the small paper about Richard Pratt, the angelic philanthropist. Hmmmm...

That's because the serious footy journos aren't as serious as the AGB.
I see the media are now talking up Kerr and Cousins also lobbing at Visy Park. Doesn't seem right.

"Richard (Pratt) has made a big commitment to the club and been a fantastic person."
Yeah, thanks Greg Swann. You just made me vomit in my mouth a little.

Make a statement: vomit into a recyclable cardboard box.

If Kerr ends up at Carlton, I'm giving the AFL away.

I said exactly the same thing about Judd last year.
Football is an addictive drug.

Chris Judd is on $1,000,000 a year from Visi for six hours "work" a week to "consult on environmental matters".
Is that a deliberate tipo?

Nah, Kerr won't be at Carlton. Melbourne, perhaps, but not Carlton.
Posted by: carneagles | 29 August 2008 at 10:43
Random: Yes, I meant "weak".
Carn: No chance.
