I'm giving up soon and taking up theatre. Join me in the pit at the Bell Shakespeare Company giving shit to the director and freaking out at Othello's performance.
I just heard Riccuto is due back. He'll probably be rested this week, so guess who he'll return against the week after.
I have a friend who used to be involved with Wet Toast and he once told me Melbourne, being soft, are a good side to bring back returning players against. Now that is respect, of a sort.
It fits in with my theory about the McKernan Factor. Stars who are past it, struggling veterans, players coming back from injury and especially over-rated players, always have their one good game for the year against Melbourne.
The result is that sides use Melbourne - again: because they're soft - as a practice run.
Instead of trying to clean up the AFL why don't the powers that be create a level playing field by making recreational drug-taking mandatory. If all players did a couple of lines before the whistle then we know no-one has the advantage, however, the game may slow at times due to random hugs and deep-and-meaningfuls.
Is that a current or former player?

That can't be a Demon player, he's holding a footy.

Is that the Dees' alternate strip?

I thought he'd done down the dunny. Keep the aspirin Teach, they're really good for preventing heart attack.

Count your blessings, I think. I'm cursed with a football club that offers false hope- at least you don't have to worry about expectations at MFC.
