TT, speaking of horses the Regal one "Regal Quest" runs around at Money Valley, this Friday night. I know that AGB isn't a punter, but a city runner is a city runner..!!!
I'm waiting with baited breath (and near empty pockets desperately looking a refill) for the answer to that question. (I'll be in the Jockey Bar. Wear a carnation in your lapel. Knock 3 times and ask for Louie, I'll give you a point over the odds.)
"A city runner is a city runner" ... except when it's a M.V. night meeting. There were plaintive appeals over the P.A. at M.V. on Sat. for more nominations for Friday. If the Regal one has more than 3 legs it's a monty given the class of fields that zimmer frame their way down the Dean St. side at night meetings.
Was at Moonee Valley last Saturday for the yearly members drinks and finger food freebie. In between the battered savs and the angels on horsebacks some oracle from the Committee mea culpa-ed about raising the Cox Plate entry to $50. Attendance 12,000 down on previous year, the lowest for 'X' years. Errrr derrrr!

Psst. Louis. $50 is a lot of mea culpa cash. Did he do the right thing and fall on his battered sav?

Nope, not that particular little black duck. However there is a raft of 'ratti, ratti' (Zool) deserting HMAS MV at the moment.
Administratively a cot case. Watch this space.

I'm still watching.
I bet he feels like a Gorilla Gorilla. (Zool)

Looks worth a lazy Kerry Packer for the place, and half a Kerry on the 9 and 10 quinella. (Looks like a muddy.)

Nice work, Sedge. Might be worth a trip to the lucky shop. Thanks for that.
