Ha Ha Murder Capital of the State of Maryland. Used to work there and it is the only place I have ever heard a gun go off on an urban street.

Baltimore is actually an interesting city, with the usual urban blight that you tend to find in all US cities.

What "murder" capital?

The weirdest US city blight I ever saw (October 1999) was Beaumont on the Texas Louisiana border. A normal US city, for the most part. Right in the guts was an empty wasteland where the CBD should be.

Recently spotted fundamental mistake of fact:

Brendon Goddard was on "After the Game" last weekend and stated that 1966 was his team's last grand final appearance. Sheesh.

And not one person on the panel of football "fans" noticed his fox pass.

Anyone ever been to Malcolm, Nebraska? Talk about urban blight.

I referred to it as Malcolm Blight. Zing! Nothing but net. Big Rammer for the win.

I saw the same thing. Unbelievable. At least had it been '96 you might have chosen to believe they misheard him.

Unless Linton Street has erased the tapes and cut Jamie Shanahan out of all their team photos.

And don't forget 1971. Yeah, I know what he MEANT, but it's not what he SAID!

In fact, it's all a bit too much like talking with my missus. 75% of my brain is listening, 25% is devoted full time to correcting the errors. :)
