Point Break - it's got Keanu, and Busey and SURFIN too ...
"In what will go down as Patrick Swayze's Finest-Moment-on-film, he plays the adrenalin guru Bodhi with glaze-eyed and silver tongued expertise, and manages to pull off, with accomplishment, the very difficult assignment of being both sane and insane."
RIP

Matt: I thought of Red Dawn later.
BB: Something for ya.

Deadheat. Both awesome. Btw, a mate said just the other day that he has never seen Ghost. I thought he was kidding.
Question though, how many legitimate film stars have had decent hit songs? I'm not talking about pop stars that have been in some crap Z-grade fillum, but a real bonafide star having a good song. Judy Garland perhaps. Bing Crosby and Sinatra maybe?

Swayze sung "She's Like The Wind" which was a pretty big hit when Dirty Dancing came out.
Ewen McGregor and Nicole Kidman "Come What May".
Not saying they were decent, but definitely hits.

Yeah Swayze with that song prompted me to ask the question. Forgot about the Moulin Rouge song, probably up there. Not too many others I would have thought. Was Barbara Streisand movies or music first?

Oh and Mark Wahlberg I guess was a crap singer who became a decent actor.

O.J Simpson.
Sorry, I thought you wrote sinner.

Mark Wahlberg was a rapper, not a singer. I think you're saying rap is crap? ;)
As far as CHICK FLICKS go, Ghost would be one of the best ones I've seen.

You seen a lot of chick flicks, Biggy?

First of all, let's get one thing straight. Crack is cheap. I make too much money to ever smoke crack. Let's get that straight. Okay? We don't do crack. We don't do that. Crack is whack.

I reckon I've seen maybe 3 or 4. Does Ladyhawke count?
Posted by: Big Rammer's Mum | 06 October 2009 at 12:37
Er. That last one was me and I, um, accidentally used my Mum's login details.

The tagline for Ladyhawke: CURSED FOR ETERNITY. No power on Earth can make me watch it.
